HAMPO JOHNPAUL SWOT ANALYSIS ON MMM DURING THE MMM GUIDER SCHOOL BATCH 2017-07-12. GROUP 27

SWOT is an acronym which stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. MMM is a socio-fund aiding community where members financially aid members and get aided directly without a central account. This analysis is done for MMM using SWOT.

Strengths

        The following are the strength of MMM:

1.   No Central Account – The fact that there is no central account makes MMM very strong. If there were to be a central account, then at any point in time the government can easily attack it.

2.   No Segregation – All participants can access the benefit of the community. There is neither nepotism nor racism if an individual meet the criteria for registration and participation.

3.   No Lawlessness – MMM is not a lawless community that every dick and harry can be a member. The criterions must be meant.

4.   Flexibility – There is flexibility in MMM. There is not a dictator in MMM. MMM administrators, support members and mentor are not dictators that exempt and not consider the reasonable excuse of members that are first time defaulters.

5.   Wilful Donation – Donations are done wilfully with a minimum of the highest Nigerian currency for MMM Nigeria which can be afforded by 98% Nigerians. The donors are publicly warned of the risk in the system and hinted to participate with their spare money. No participant is made to donate by force.

6.   The inability for hackers to hack the website except from a participant’s negligence.

7.   Security in donation since donated amount can’t be lost even if the recipient of a donation refuses to confirm.

8.   Standard record of survival from several attacks and the continuously existence across continents.

Weaknesses

        The weaknesses of MMM community are as follows:

1.   The payment of guider bonus to not active guiders. If a guider is not active in a month, then there should be denial of his/her bonus for more than a month but there should be an auto register that measures the active time of a guider on MMM.

2.   There should be an offline method for participation like a USSD code to enable members check their account status.

3.   The manual movement of referees of a new guider. This should be automatic so that a new guider becomes the guider of all he/she referred.

4.   The absence of auto-validation to all POP.

5.   The absence of allowing an experienced referral to be a direct guider. The system should be direct guider and 10k guider only.

6.   The 100K guider and the bonus should be removed because most 100K guiders do nothing different from a guider.

7.   A more organised guider forum for all guiders to get support should be created to totally remove the 100K and above type of guider if there are.

8.   Continuous growth of 30% mavro even after 30 days.

Opportunities

1.   A fair and equal financial system where participant are not charged for participating.

2.   A financial boosting community.

3.   A fair playing ground for all participants. No favouritism and ‘man know man’.

4.   Newbies are welcome warmly and dedicated participants are given a share from their dedication to grow and sustain the community.

5.   The socio-financial nature allows to make financial gain and also new friends.

6.   The trainings, seminars, webinars and schools add knowledge to participants.

7.   The opportunity to meet new reasoning ability of people across the works of life both locally and internationally.

Threats

1.   No guarantee scares a total layman of MMM.

2.   The non-continuity of existing members and increasing inflow of new participants.

3.   Image denting comments.

4.   Non-support from the government to foster awareness.

5.   Media negative campaign and crucifixion of founder.
